It's easy! First, search for a job. Once you find the role you're interested in, click the 'Apply Now' button next to the title of the role at the top of the page. Then, follow the directions. You'll either create a profile or log in if you're a returning candidate.
It's best to write one or have one created for you, but you can still apply without one. Where a resume/CV is requested, upload a brief description of your background, experience (with dates of employment), education, and skills. This info is necessary to evaluate candidates. Applications without this information can't be considered.

We take our customers’ trust and security very seriously. To make sure that our customers' and candidates' sensitive information is protected, our Customer Service and Human Resources data are kept separate. Because of this, you'll need a separate profile in order to apply for jobs.
If you're selected for an interview, we may request work samples. If we do, we'll give you an email address to send them to. However, if you have public copies of your work available online, it's a great idea to include links in your resume/CV.
We regularly post new positions and remove positions that are no longer open or have been filled. If a job isn't on our site, then we're not taking applications at this time.
We often get hundreds, and sometimes thousands, of applications for our open positions. We follow federal requirements when we review applications, and we contact the people we'd like to learn more about. Unfortunately, we're not able to make personal contact with people we're not moving forward with. You can always log in to your application profile and check the status of jobs you've applied to.

Yes. You can use LinkedIn as an alternative to uploading a traditional resume/CV during profile creation. We only accept one resume per applicant, so select the option that works best for you.
Your dashboard is regularly updated to display the status of your applications. When an application status changes, your dashboard is updated in almost real-time.
An application is considered active as long as a final decision hasn't been made. If you withdraw your application, are hired for a role, or are no longer under consideration, your application will be archived.
Yes. Please apply to roles that align with both your interests and skillset. You'll be evaluated against the requirements for each role and may interview for different roles at the same time.
You can see the status of your application in the candidate portal. If you applied for a tech role in North America, check the status of your application here. For all other roles, check the status of your application here. We review applications on a rolling basis and will contact you if we're interested in moving forward.

On May 25, Amazon’s shareholders approved a 20-for-1 split of our common stock. If you receive RSUs as part of your offer on or before June 3, 2022, the RSUs in the offer are in pre-split figures. By the time the RSUs are visible in your account, the split-adjusted amount will be reflected. If you receive an offer after June 3, 2022, the RSUs will be split-adjusted, meaning that the RSUs in your offer letter will match the total amount you will see in your Amazon stock account.

Multi-Factor Authentication, or MFA, adds an additional layer of security to your account. For Amazon.jobs MFA, it means you need to give two types of verification: your regular password and a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your email.
You have the option to enable or disable MFA in your Amazon.jobs account settings. However, for certain tasks, mandatory MFA is enforced for every login, regardless of the MFA setting in your account.
You can enable or disable MFA in your Amazon.jobs account settings. Once enabled, you'll receive a OTP code via email during your next login.
If you don't receive the OTP code email, check your spam folder and add the email address to your safe sender list. If it's not there, you can use the "Send me a new code" option on the authentication screen to request a new code.
If you enter the code incorrectly, you'll receive an error message, and the code input field will be cleared. You can attempt to enter the correct code again.
If your code expires, you can simply request a new code by using the "Send me a new code" option on the authentication screen. If you requested multiple verification codes, only the newest one works.
If you’re having trouble verifying the OTP code, you have the option to create a new account to proceed with your job application.
